Cecil Kimberlin
Southwest Region Chaplain of the Year

October 1, 2009

Cecil Kimberlin has been named Chaplain of the Year for the Southwest Region.  Cecil is an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene, lives in Artesia, New Mexico, and is currently a Chaplain for VistaCare Hospice, where he does spiritual care and bereavement care to patients who are close to death, and then ministers to the family in grief.  He has been married to Diane for forty years, has two married daughters, three grandsons and one granddaughter.  He serves also as an Associate Pastor at the Carlsbad First Church of the Nazarene.  He is an avid bird watcher, volunteers with the Bitterlake National Wild Life Refuge and enjoys fishing with his grandchildren.  We congratulate Cecil on this special selection by his peers in ministry.
